What's Happening?		Location
The club is holding a BackGammon Tournament Friday, August 10th, at 9:00 PM (After the BBQ) in the Great Room. There is a sign up sheet next to the bar in the club. The Women's Doubles Tennis Tournament is next Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th. Sign up at the Tennis Shed. The Board of Governors would like to thank Ann Azzinaro, Pat Shepland and Jon Shepland for hosting a wonderful Caribbean Night at the club Wednesday. Ann and Pat had 150 people sign up before the event and another 60 people come the last minute, obviously drawn by the activities at the bay front. The children participated in several water events before dinner started. The music and atmosphere was fabulous, as was the food. Burgees Available (with a Special Offer): New high quality burgees are now available for $20 for one and $35 for two. Buy one for your home, office or boat and take a second one with you on vacation and trade it for another club's burgee. Then bring that burgee into the Club (to add to the collection in the main room) and get either a new SYC burgee or a refund.
