Want to submit a photo?
If you have a photo, we would like to see posted on the SYC web site. Please help us by observing the following guidelines:

Photo subject should be SYC-related, or of general interest to SYC members. Subject matter can be timely news of a club event, or historical items relating to the club.
Please be selective! Edit your images. Do not send five similar shots of the same subject. Rather, pick out the one or two images which have superior composition, the best lighting, or really tell the story.
Acceptable image formats are JPEG (JPG, JPE), PNG, TIFF, bitmap (BMP), Photoshop (PDF), Pixar and Targa. GIFs are discouraged as this format is designed primarily for graphics and lacks photo-image quality.

Email your image to the webmaster. Regretfully, webmasters can not scan prints, slides, or negatives, and will not returning physical photo stock to submitters. Visit a photo or copy shop if you require scanning services. Kodak will burn your pictures onto a Photo CD along with your regular print processing for an additional $10 fee.
Please bear in mind that your webmasters are unpaid volunteers. By carefully selecting photos you help us make the web site an interesting place for all members to visit, as well as free up webmasters' time for important activies like sailing and playing tennis.
The webmasters reserve the editorial right to select which images to post, as well as the right digitally edit all submitted images. (Photo editing usually involves only rotation, cropping, light and color balancing, and/or resolution adjustment).
