Tennis Sign Up
Tennis is available from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm everyday. Sign up for tennis on the tennis deck at 7:15 pm everynight. On the weekends you can sign up for 8:00 am games that morning, but be there early to get a foursome. See Rules for Tennis Sign-Up. Out of season, sign up sheets are posted at the courts every morning around 8 AM

Steve is married our own Pia Notaro and has been an active member of the Saltaire Yacht Club for several years. Steve serves as the Tennis Program Director for the Saltaire Yacht Club under the company title of South Bay Tennis, LLC. In addition to coaching the Varsity Tennis Team at Somers High School, Steve brings 12 years of tennis administrative and instructional experience from both private clubs and Smuggler’s Notch Resort. Steve is a certified USPTA Professional Level II Instructor.

Hofstra University Men’s/Women’s Tennis Coach
In his 12th season as the Head Tennis coach at Hofstra University, Bill Gerdts reached the 200-win milestone with his Men’s Team and the 100-win milestone with his Women’s Team. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from years of administrative and instructional experience. He has run numerous camps for juniors, collegians, and adults. Bill is a certified USPTA Professional Level I Instructor.

Hofstra University
Mario will be joining us for this year’s Saltaire Tennis Camp. He is ranked in the top 10 in his native Slovakia while playing 5-6 singles this season at Hofstra University under the tutelage of his coach Bill Gerdts.

Round Robins
Round robin doubles matches are held every Tuesday from 8 am to 1 pm throughout July and August. Play consists of four matches of six games each, sudden death duece. Organizers will match you with a new partner and opponents for each match. Players receive one point for each game won (maximum 24 points). Signup sheets are posted at the courts starting the previous Sunday evening.
