1985年本科毕业于中南大学粉末冶金专业,毕业后留校工作三年,1991年硕士毕业于大阳城8722材料学专业,2002年在北京矿冶研究总院评聘为研究员,2006博士毕业于大阳城8722材料加工工程系留校从事教学与科研工作,2013年10月至2014年4月受国家留学基金委选派作为访问学者在美国俄亥俄州立大学材料科学与工程系留学。
